On October 28th 2016, the Committee of the local branch of the Swedish Dockworker’s Union Hamn 4, decided to take up previous negotiations with APM Terminals in Gothenburg. Notice about a blockade regarding overtime, hiring and staffing has been given. The blockade starts on November 8th 2016 at 16:00, and lasts until December 31st 2016 at 24.00.

The conflict concerns collective agreements, but also that the Swedish Dockworker’s Union Hamn 4, wants to be more involved in the negotiations, as well as issues concerning planning and wellbeing on the terminal.
